Jazz for Peace Concert to be held on August 2 in Kansas City Legendary Jazz Artist Rick DellaRatta will be coming to Kansas City to donate his time and talents (through his Jazz for Peace EasyGrant Program) to raise funds for SAFENOWPROJECT, an outstanding local non-profit organizations which offers vital services to the community. This benefit will take place at Jardine’s Restaurant and Jazz Club, located at 4536 Main Street in Kansas City, MO, on Saturday, August 2nd, 2008 at 2:00PM. SAFENOWPROJECT® RECEIVES ENDORSEMENTS FROM SHERIFFS ACROSS THE COUNTRY
SAFENOWPROJECT® partners with the National Neighborhood Watch program to produce the next module which will focus on parent education about the Sex Offender Registry and our TAKE FIVE SAFER STEPS TO BE SAFE NOW® program for children.
On 6/22 and 6/23, SAFENOWPROJECT® received "official" endorsements by the Major County Sheriffs' Association and the National Sheriffs' Association (NSA) respectively. This followed our donation of TAKE FIVE SAFER STEPS TO BE SAFE NOW® and MOLLY MEERKAT®, a new national child safety and protection mascot, to the national Neighborhood Watch toolkit. This community prevention education program will be available to all communities across the country through their local law enforcement agency.
